decontamination of waste materials, packaging and transport of waste which has to
be inactivated and decontaminated.
Laboratory staff prepares standard operative procedures for the reception of samples,
route distribution patterns of sampl...es, diagnostic methods, definition of preparation,
testing and storage area, disinfection and waste handling.
In accordance with the assumed number of samples, biosafety officer has to prepare
a plan for the reorganization of staff from the other departments and their inclusion

restricted area except for activities related to outbreak.
After eradication of infection, detailed decontamination must be performed this
includes decontamination of premises, equipment, protective clothes, uniforms and
whole restriction area.
